CONSTITUTION OF ZIMBABWE

Every person has the right to an environment that is not harmful to their health or well-being; and to have the environment protected for the benefit of present and future generations, through reasonable legislative and other measures that:

(i) prevent pollution and ecological degradation;
(ii) promote conservation; and
(iii) secure ecologically sustainable development and use of natural resources while promoting economic and social development

CAI brings together key climate stakeholders to coordinate effective responses to climate change.

Public Awareness

CAI educates the public on climate regulations and policies, fostering a more informed society.

Technical Support

CAI provides expert advisory services to support legislators and policymakers on climate discourse.

Inspiration

United Nations Secretary General, António Guterres has said that, “The climate emergency is a race we are losing, but it is a race we can win.”

CAI draws inspiration from this profound quote, to advance effective and impactful climate action.
